Julie Piechan, MS, LCGC will be joining us for an informational interview and presentation! Julie is a prenatal genetic counselor in Indianapolis at IU Health. She previously worked at Pfizer for 10 years as a scientist before returning to school to become a genetic counselor.

Dr. Sean Courtney will be joining us to present on research in genetics. Dr. Courtney is currently the research compliance manager at Purdue University. He is in charge of making sure researchers are compliant in conducting responsible research. He also has 15+ years of biomedical research experience in genetics and cancer genomics.

Rebekah Krukenberg, MS, LCGC will be joining us for a presentation about ethical concerns during genetic counseling appointments which will be followed by a Q&A session. Rebekah is an oncology genetic counselor in Indianapolis at Community Physician Network. She received her GC degree from IU in 2012 and has been practicing ever since.

Ambreen Khan, MS, CGC will be joining us to present on the various issues surrounding health inequity in genetic counseling. Ambreen is a cancer genetic counselor at the Family Cancer Assessment Clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ambreen is also on the NSGC Diversity and Inclusion Task Force.
